- General DiscussionWell here is my thoughts. I have had horses in my life since 1975 and rode a long time with out wearing helmet unless I was jumping ( low jumps and found it that wasn't me), but a friend kept urging me to wear a helmet and I kept say " I know I should". It took another friend's husband coming of his horse and ending up with traumatic brain injury that changed his life and his families life to changed my mind. That was a wake up call for many of us. The photo is of one of my clients who had been ER Nurse and saw people come in with traumatic brain injuries and told me at clinic that's was her wake call, so I guess it's different for everyone. So here is the questions do you wear a helmet and if so why. If don't why don't you. No judging or lecturing here just curious.
- Questions & AnswersDale Robertson on his beloved horse Jubilee The peak year for television Westerns was 1959, with 26 such shows airing during primetime. This trend continue through the 60's and early 70's. While interest in old TV westerns might be experiencing a resurgence, it's more accurate to say that the genre's popularity is experiencing a sustained, rather than a peaking, interest, particularly through nostalgia channels and streaming services. Our question is - What was your favorite Television Western(s) when you growing up and or now today.
