Well here is my thoughts. I have had horses in my life since 1975 and rode a long time with out wearing helmet unless I was jumping ( low jumps and found it that wasn't me), but a friend kept urging me to wear a helmet and I kept say " I know I should". It took another friend's husband coming of his horse and ending up with traumatic brain injury that changed his life and his families life to changed my mind. That was a wake up call for many of us.
The photo is of one of my clients who had been ER Nurse and saw people come in with traumatic brain injuries and told me at clinic that's was her wake call, so I guess it's different for everyone.
So here is the questions do you wear a helmet and if so why. If don't why don't you. No judging or lecturing here just curious.
